Gigesa is a small town in the Danbi Uddo Kebele near the town of Shakiso in the Guji Zone of Ethiopia. There you will find 500 coffee growers, each holding approximately 2-5 hectares of farm land, all over 1800 meters above sea level. Guji Shakiso Gigesa is a natural processed coffee where they leave some of the fruit on the seed as it is drying. This coffee is put into a fermentation tank, left under the shade for 3-5 hours, and then left to dry on raised beds. This imparts a fruit forward profile. This is another beautiful farmgate coffee.
