Finca Acopio Suyatal comes from Dipilto, a region within the larger Nueva Segovia Department. Nueva Segovia sits along the northern border of Nicaragua, very close to Honduras, and offers some of the most ideal climatic regions for coffee production in Nicaragua. At 1500 meters, Acopio Suyatal is one of the highest altitude farms of the small suite of estates run by Cafetalera Buenos Aires. The farm is roughly 10 manzanas in size and planted in mostly Caturra with some Maragogype shrubs peppered throughout. This Caturra separation from the farm represents coffee selected from the main part of the 2021 harvest. The coffee is fully washed at the Buenos Aires wet mill, fermented overnight to remove any remaining fruit, then trucked down to Ocotal where it is dry milled using state of the art equipment at Buenos Aires' dry milling facility.
This is another beautiful Farm Gate coffee that is excellent as espresso.
