Abiyot Ageze has been a coffee leader in the woreda (district), and he operates two washing stations including this one. He is known for his focus on quality with consistent fermentations of washed coffees and meticulous sorting and drying. The farmers who deliver cherries to Abiyot Ageze’s washing station are in the southwestern part of Ethiopia with small farms surrounding the village of Konga. Producers in this area often have small plots of land (1-2 hectars) and use part of their land to grow food crops for personal consumption. This is another beautiful Farm Gate coffee.
